The 2nd International Conference on Advanced Smart Materials and Structures 2023 (ASMaS 2023)

During June 28-30, 2023, the 2nd International Conference on Advanced Smart Materials and Structures 2023 (ASMaS 2023) took place at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), with the participation of scientists, experts, and graduate students from different countries, including Germany, United Kingdom, Korea, Australia, Russia, India, Taiwan, Malaysia and Vietnam.

ASMaS was first organized in November 2021, with the aim of creating a forum for high-quality academic community exchange between domestic and foreign scientists about cutting-edge research achievements in the field of smart structures and materials-oriented science, engineering and technology combined with computational science and big data science. This is also an opportunity for PhD students and students of Natural Sciences and Engineering - Technology to approach and learn from leading experts in the world.

After the process of review and selection, 30 excellent scientific works were presented at the Conference. In particular, many famous scholars in the industry presented at ASMaS 2023 including: Prof. Seung-Bok Choi - Director of Smart Structures and Systems Laboratory, State University of New York (SUNY), Korea, Prof. Weihua Li - Director of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (AMT), University of Wollongong, Australia, and Prof. Le Khanh Chau - The Institute for Advanced Study in Technology, Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam. At the end of the Conference, the Scientific Council would select excellent papers to be published in a special edition of the prestigious International Journal of Intelligent Material Systems and Structures (ISI).
