Seminar on Publishing WoS Papers and Advanced Knowledge in Mechanics with Prof. Dr. Holm Altenbach

From March 27 to April 17, 2026, the Institute for Advanced Study in Technology (IAST), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is honored to welcome Prof. Dr. Holm Altenbach –  a collaborating professor of the University and one of the world's most prestigious scientists in the fields of mechanics and international scientific publishing –  for a visit, working sessions, and experience sharing.

As part of his visit, at 2:00 PM on April 2, 2026, the Professor will present a scientific seminar on the topic "Traditional and Advanced Creep Models," delivering in-depth and up-to-date knowledge in the field of mechanics of materials.

Furthermore, drawing on his extensive experience as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (ZAMM, Springer Nature), along with his editorial roles for various other prestigious publications (Lecture Notes on Advanced Structured Materials, Mechanics of Composite Materials, Continuum Mechanics and Thermodynamics...), Professor will also present the special topic "How to Write and Publish a Scientific Article." This session will provide practical insights, helping lecturers, researchers, and students enhance their writing skills and successfully publish their papers in international scientific journals.

IAST respectfully announces and cordially invites all interested lecturers, researchers, and students to attend.
