1. Introduction
Benchmarking Research Group (BERG) is funded by Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and belongs to Faculty of Accounting. BERG focuses on applying data envelopment analysis approach (DEA), which is a non-parametric approach, to evaluate the efficiency of complex business operations. DEA is one of the most powerful tools for measuring performance by developing a framework to analyze multiple factors that potentially affect corporate operations. DEA also emphasizes the implications of timely solutions for practical business-world issues.
2. Mission and vision
- Our vision is to build BERG as a leading team in Vietnam for extended research on data envelopment analysis, and most importantly their applications and solutions for various accounting- and financial-related themes.
